O-R Thai Cuisine, which closed last month at The Oaks mall, plans to re-open soon at 5653 Kanan Road, next to Italia Deli, in the space previously occupied by Cuckoo Rooster. Check for updates at www.facebook.com/orauthenticthaicuisine.
Louie’s is now open at the Westlake Village Inn in the former Bogie’s at 32001 Agoura Road in Westlake Village. Open for dinner at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Live music and dancing most nights. Visit www.clublouies.com for more information.
The 99 Cents Only Store at 950 East Avenida De Los Arboles in Thousand Oaks, along with all other 99 Cents Only stores, recently closed its doors due to the company’s financial issues. However, just a few weeks later, there is a “coming soon” sign up on the building.
In late May, Dollar Tree announced it would be purchasing up to 170 of the closed 99 Cents Only store locations and will be reopening them later this Fall.
Prior to 99 Cents Only opening at this location in early 2013, the Roller Dome roller skating facility operated here from May 1995 until October 2010.
Buster's OG BBQ & Grill is now in "soft opening" mode in the Skyline Plaza, 2835 Thousand Oaks Blvd in Thousand Oaks, next to Baskin Robbins. Check their IG page for details at @bustersogbbq or visit their website at www.bustersogbbq.com.
Selvin's Restaurant + Lounge is opening to the public on June 21st. Located at the Palm Garden Hotel on Ventu Park Road in Thousand Oaks, its founder is local entrepreneur and band leader, 97 year young Harry Selvin. Its menu includes entrees like Seared Scallop Risotto, Seared Pacific Halibut and Steak Frites, pizzas, salads, appetizers and more. Learn more at www.selvins.com..
UPDATE: The Curry Leaf is now open.
The Curry Leaf, which previously operated in Camarillo on Mission Oaks Blvd but closed a couple years ago, will be re-opening soon at 4952 Verdugo Way in Camarillo (previously St. Francis BBQ), near the Old New York Deli. Ling Long Asian Bistro & Sushi has operated under new ownership since February at the former Thousand Wok at 450 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks. No website at this point but Doordash has a menu at www.doordash.com/store/ling-long-thousand-oaks-18309.
Hearn from Facebook follower Stacey L tonight that MOD Pizza Newbury Park has closed its doors. This location at The Village at Newbury Park would have turned 10 years old on October 2nd.
