Several folks have asked about what's going on at the old Citibank branch building in the Westlake Plaza at the corner of Westlake Boulevard and Agoura Road (974 South Westlake Blvd.). The new place is called Crawford's Social - Cocktails/Lounge/Eatery. "West coast influenced shareable American cuisine." Once more information is available, we’ll provide an update. Looks like La Cereza Cafe & Bakery is building out a location at 280 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Suite A in Thousand Oaks, just east of Tarantula Hill Brewing Co. No other details at this point. Stay tuned.

Pieology progress at Janss Marketplace - still "coming soon" but the official sign is up and they are hiring at akashjobs.live/hiring. Akash is a restaurant management company based in Pomona. New location is a 5 minute walk from a previous Pieology location that operated from Aug 2013 to Jul 2018. There was also a Westlake Village Pieology from Feb 2015 to Jul 2018. Buster's OG BBQ & Grill Coming Soon to Thousand Oaks (Opened in June 2024)

Got the heads up from Brianna H via the CVG Facebook Page that Buster's OG BBQ & Grill is coming soon to the former Grabbagreen location in the Skyline Plaza in Thousand Oaks. Buster's opened its Ventura location last year. www.bustersogbbq.com

101 BBQ Hut Announces It Will Be Opening Later This Year at The Shoppes at Westlake Village

On Tuesday, the owner of 101 BBQ Hut announced via Facebook that he will be opening a new location at The Shoppes at Westlake Village in the former home of Hook Burger. Stay tuned.

101 BBQ Hut was previously located at 1610 E. T.O. Blvd from January 2020 to July 2021 in the space now occupied by The Fisherman’s Wife.

We have a bit of “musical restaurants” going on it seems but hey, it’s all good.
