The First and So Far Only Ventura County Dunkin' Location Opened in Camarillo in October

The first and so far only Dunkin’ (yes, “Donuts” was removed from their name in late 2018) in Ventura County is co-located with CBC Federal Credit Union at 300 Arneill Road in Camarillo (cross street Barry Street).

Before we move on, I know some of you are saying, hey, wait, there’s a Dunkin’ in Westlake Village. Yes, there is, but it’s the City of Westlake Village that is located in Los Angeles County, not the Thousand Oaks portion of Westlake Village located in Ventura County. So anyhow, if you have a hankering for a Dunkin’ donut (notice donut is not capitalized), you can bank on one, so to speak, in Camarillo, across the street from a Jiffy Lube.

It’s easy to get there from Thousand Oaks if you’re looking to drive a bit farther for a Dunkin’ donut than Westlake Village. Just take the 101 north to Lewis and turn left on Lewis and a right on Arneill.

8/26/19: As previously noted, Baja Fresh #50, which closed its doors after 20 years in business on Thursday, May 30th, will soon be the home to Cafe Rio at 595 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

This is confirmed by a recent job posting for restaurant team members at https://apply.jobappnetwork.com/cafe-rio.

Cafe Rio serves up Mexican favorites like burritos, enchiladas, tacos, quesadilla, tostadas, nachos, salads and more.

California Fish Grill and a "National Coffee Tenant" Coming to Former Hooters Location at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks

The Old Hooters/Sizzler/Fuddruckers/Pat & Oscars building at Janss Marketplace at 401 North Moorpark Road is going to be demolished and a new multi-tenant building with a drive-thru will be replacing it.

Tenants will be the California Fish Grill and a "National Coffee Tenant." Hmm, what could that be? There is a Coffee Bean and Peet's Coffee a short walking distance from there. Stay tuned.

Big news from the owners of Borderline Bar & Grill today, Thanksgiving 2019, on their Facebook page. While their long term plans are to reopen Borderline at its existing location, in the meantime they plan to open BL Dancehall & Saloon in the Agoura Village Center at 29020 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills.

BL will feature a brand new custom built dance floor, great sound and lighting system, game room with pool tables and other games, patio area, outdoor bar and stage for live music.

Tifa Chocolate & Gelato to Open Location in Calabasas

Tifa Chocolate & Gelato announced via its Facebook page today that a new location at the Courtyard Center in Calabasas at 23655 Calabasas Road. They anticipate opening by late December.
