Reign & Shine Play Lab in Oak Park is a modern, immersive indoor play space designed for children ages 6 months to 10 years, with a special focus on imaginative, sensory-friendly experiences. The facility features sensory-based interactive play areas, including an interactive swing wall, a live draw wall, interactive ball wall and floor, and an interactive slide.

Kids can also explore an interactive moon sand table, themed pretend play stations (such as the Cosmic Clinic, Astro Market, and Intergalactic Salon), and a cozy reading nook. Many of the interactive games incorporate STEAM-inspired learning elements, blending fun with educational value. Kids' Adventure Garden in Thousand Oaks

The Kids' Adventure Garden (KAG) at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden is open every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The KAG is a fun place for children to learn about nature and gardening.  The garden features a tree house, pirate's cave, zoo garden, hydroponic pod and much more. Free admission (though donations are welcome). Enter at W. Gainsborough Road at Jeaunine Drive. between Lynn Road and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

Kids love running around the KAG and exploring the nearby trails and stream.  Additionally, Conejo Community Park is next to the garden, with a nice playground area, expansive grass and picnic areas.

Art Trek in Newbury Park

Art Trek, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to bring visual, performing and literary arts to people of all ages. Kids Fun Zone and Outdoor Play Area at Janss Marketplace

Janss Marketplace announces the themes for the 2025 FREE Kids Fun Zone, held from 12 – 2 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month from May through September. Each month children, ages 12 and younger, who are accompanied by an adult, are invited to enjoy free shows, crafts, music and dance at the Kids Fun Zone at Janss Marketplace, located at 275 North Moorpark Road East in Thousand Oaks, just off the 101 Freeway at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive. Kids Club at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks

The Kids Club at The Lakes in collaboration with Apple TV+ meets every Wednesday of the month from 10-11am on the lawn during most spring/summer months. Geared towards kids 10 and under.

In addition to the kids club, The Lakes has a small playground area that is geared toward the younger kids, an expanse of grass and 2 beautiful lakes, waterfall, fountain, etc. This is a nice park-like setting that makes you forget the fact that you are looking straight out at Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Rockin' Kids Play Center in Simi Valley

Rockin' Kids Play Center is located at the Simi Valley Town Center at 1555 Simi Town Center Way, Suite 545. This indoor playground offers open play and birthday parties seven days a week. The center is a large facility geared towards toddlers to age 7. Socks are required in all play areas.  There is a nice assortment of climbing areas, slides, ball pit, swings, riding toys and other safe, padded options.
