We Rock the Spectrum Kid's Gym in Agoura Hills

We Rock the Spectrum Kid's Gym at 30315 Canwood Street, Agoura Hills opened to the public in November 2013. Open from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday for open play. Saturdays and Sundays - call in advance for open times.

The gym provides children from infant to age 13 with a fun and motivational environment to help them with strength, movement, vestibular development, sensory processing, communication and social interactions.

Activities at the gym include: zip line, full sized trampoline, rope wall, slide, monkey bars, swings, tunnels, sensory-based toys, motor play toys and equipment, arts and crafts area and more.

Open play is $23 for one child, $20 for additional siblings (as of January 2024).

Samuelson Aquatics Center Community Pool at CLU in Thousand Oaks

The Community Pool at Samuelson Aquatics Center is the result of a unique collaboration between the University, the Conejo Recreation and Park District and the City of Thousand Oaks.  This year-round facility includes a nice shade structure, picnic tables, outdoor showers, classes and more. The seven-lane pool serves as a warm-up pool for CLU athletes during competitions.  It is available to the local community, swim clubs and masters swimmers.

Recreational swim hours vary but the pool is open 7 days per week. Pool heated up to 84 degrees.

Hockey Alley Ice Hockey Training Facility in Newbury Park

Thousand Oaks Teen Center

The Thousand Oaks Teen Center is located at 1375 East Janss Road adjacent to Conejo Creek Park North and the Thousand Oaks Library (near the intersection of Janss and the 23 freeway).

The teen center is funded by the City of Thousand Oaks and is managed by the Conejo Recreation and Park District.  It is a nice sized facility with a gymnasium, classrooms, a 1,700 sq ft game room and computer lab.

Programs includes classes, concerts, dances, camps, leagues, trips and other great activities for kids in 7th through 12th grades.

Open Gym at Conejo Recreation & Park District Facilities

The Conejo Recreation & Park District has several facilities offering not only paid programs and classes but free access to indoor gymnasium facilities during designated hours.

The Dos Vientos Community Center at 4801 Borchard Road, Newbury Park also offers free open gym access during designated time frames. They indicate that open basketball times are for those 16 years and older to play basketball; no team practices are allowed during open gym times. Open badminton is also offered on some nights. The Channel Islands YMCA is an association of seven YMCA branches serving Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
