Golf N' Stuff Ventura

For hours of amusement check out Golf N' Stuff off the 101 freeway in eastern Ventura, just 20 miles west of Newbury Park. Golf N' Stuff features two 18-hole miniature golf courses, Indy style race cars (go-karts), bumper boats, bumper cars and laser tag (offered at designated time frames) and a large arcade. You must be 4' 8" tall to drive the go-karts and at least 4' tall to drive the bumper boats/cars, so make sure to wear heels if you're really short.

Each activity is priced separately. Mini golf as of December 2025 costs $18.00. You can also purchase a 2 hour unlimited use wristband for $22.00 (as of December 2025) and try everything.

Golf N' Stuff is open 365 days per year (366 on leap years)! Yes, it is even open Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day!

There is also a snack bar that serves an assortment of items, like mini pizzas, hot dogs and pretzels. Enough to provide plenty of carbs for your activities.

Jump 'n Jammin Children's Entertainment Center at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard

Jump 'n Jammin Children’s Entertainment Center recently opened at The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard. Play areas for toddlers up to ages I'd say to maybe 12. Similar to Kids' World in Oak Park, but somewhat smaller.

Fun looking place! Climbing, crawling, slides, foam ball shooters, etc. $22 for all day admission ages 2-12 (includes one free adult). (as of November 2025.) Toddlers $10. Additional adults $5.

Reign & Shine Play Lab in Oak Park

Reign & Shine Play Lab in Oak Park is a modern, immersive indoor play space designed for children ages 6 months to 10 years, with a special focus on imaginative, sensory-friendly experiences. The facility features sensory-based interactive play areas, including an interactive swing wall, a live draw wall, interactive ball wall and floor, and an interactive slide.

Kids can also explore an interactive moon sand table, themed pretend play stations (such as the Cosmic Clinic, Astro Market, and Intergalactic Salon), and a cozy reading nook. Art Trek in Newbury Park

Art Trek, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to bring visual, performing and literary arts to people of all ages. Art Trek provides art training to parents and teachers, after school programs, teen programs, summer camps, studio workshops and more. It has been active since 1992 and was established as a not-for-profit in 2006.

Rancho Simi Community Pool in Simi Valley

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District maintains the massive Rancho Simi Community Pool, located at 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley.

The pool is available year round for lap swimming, recreational swimming, swimming lessons, birthday parties, periodic events and more.

Hours vary for recreational swimming, so check website below for schedules. Admission (as of July 2025) is $4 for ages 2 to 49 and $2 for ages 50+.

Samuelson Aquatics Center Community Pool at CLU in Thousand Oaks

The Community Pool at Samuelson Aquatics Center is the result of a unique collaboration between the University, the Conejo Recreation and Park District and the City of Thousand Oaks. 

This year-round facility includes a nice shade structure, picnic tables, outdoor showers, classes and more. The seven-lane pool serves as a warm-up pool for CLU athletes during competitions.  It is available to the local community, swim clubs and masters swimmers.

The poo is heated between 80 to 84 degrees year-round.

Daland Swim School - Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills

The Daland Swim School facility is located at 135 East Wilbur Road in Thousand Oaks between Moorpark Road and Hodencamp Road. Lazertag Extreme in Simi Valley

Lazertag Extreme at 591-A Country Club Drive, Simi Valley in the Wood Ranch Shopping Center opened in July 2013. This facility has a customized 5,000+ sq ft three-level interactive arena, arcade with ticket redemption games and a cafe.  No reservations required to play but for groups of 8 or more are recommended.
