Fit4Mom is a fitness program designed for moms in all stages of motherhood. It was created in 2001 as Stroller Strides and has now over 1,300 locations nationwide. It is a total body workout that incorporates power walking, running, strength, toning, songs and activities all while having your babies and toddlers in the stroller.

Roadrunner Sports Thursday Adventure Runs in Newbury Park

Roadrunner Sports Thousand Oaks, located at 1714 Newbury Road in Newbury Park, hosts "Thursday Adventure Runs" on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from May through October. FREE!

Event consists of an hour of running/walking at your own pace, followed by a raffle with over $3,000 in prizes, including free local race entries, music, a free beer and much more. Sign up in advance and receive a free raffle ticket.

CycleBar Thousand Oaks

The grand opening of the first dedicated cycling studio in Thousand Oaks, CycleBar is planned for September 25, 2017.

Cyclebar will offer residents and visitors a premium indoor cycle experience. Highly trained CycleStar instructors take participants through 50-minute rides inside its CycleTheatre, a tiered room holding 49 custom bikes, along with state-of-the-art lighting, video and audio technology, including an onsite DJ booth, and a temperature-controlled HVAC system which cycles in fresh air every ten minutes.

Future Track Running Club - Agoura Hills

Future Track Running Club was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in April 1993. The club's goal is to enhance the running skills for all levels of adult athletes. Members come from many of the surrounding areas and vary in experience from beginning runners to All-Americans.

The club is extremely fortunate to have the expert guidance and leadership of Bill Duley, who was selected a National Top High School track coach in 2000. He has over 30 years of coaching experience from the youth level to Olympic Trials Qualifiers, and from beginner to advanced runners. At Agoura High School he coached future Olympic Bronze Medalist Deena (Drossin) Kastor, among other national standouts.

Club workouts take place on Tuesday nights at Oak Park High School and on Thursday nights at another location in Oak Park or Agoura.

CycleBar Studios at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks

CycleBar studios, a new concept in premium indoor cycling that offers a high energy workout in a concert-like atmosphere, will open at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks in the summer of 2017. The dynamic classes take place in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre and are led by CycleStar instructors who take participants through a 50-minute high energy ride. The CycleTheatre features tiers for 50 bikes plus LED light­ing, wide-screen graphics and state-of-the-art audio with a DJ booth. Riders can also track performance data via CycleStats and can download music used in the class session. After class, riders cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, while aromatherapy helps guests relax throughout the facility.

CycleBar offers a pay-per-class model, with no membership necessary. Concierge service and amenities in­clude complimentary towels, showers, lockers, and cycling shoes.

Conejo Valley Trail Runners

Conejo Valley Trail Runners (CVTR) is a local trail running club that hosts two weekly trail runs in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas on Wednesday mornings and alternating Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Course terrain and distances will vary, but CVTR will always offer an alternative option depending on our member's ability. CVTR membership will include preferred store/product discounts at Future Track Running Center in Agoura, member only access to certified running coaches, a monthly newsletter, guest speaker hosted runs on related topics, social gatherings and more.

CVTR offers two weekly trail runs originating in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. Including, but not limited to Wildwood Park, Sycamore Canyon, La Jolla Valley, Malibu Creek State Park, Lang Ranch, Chesebro, Los Robles and Dos Vientos. Course terrain and distance will vary, but will always include an alternate option depending on member's ability.

Girlz Gone Riding Cycling Group

GGR (Girlz Gone Riding) is a group of women of all ages and all levels in the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas. We ride cross country, down-hill, and even hit the pavement with our skinny tires sometimes! We are a positive, supportive group for all levels of riding.

GGR has a very active Facebook group to discuss all things women's cycling related.

Find other women to ride with in your area at your level, network, sign up for clinics, go to places like Big Bear, Mammoth, Kernville, and enjoy a big annual get together with lots of free stuff and organized rides by joining GGR.
