Ojai Art Center Presents Its 49th Annual Art in the Park Event on May 23-24, 2026

The Ojai Art Center hosts its 49th Annual Art in the Park celebration on Memorial Day weekend, May 23-24, 2026, from 10am to 5pm at Libbey Park in Downtown Ojai.

Art in the Park is an annual tradition started in 1977 by local artists at the Ojai Art Center to give artists a place to sell their work during Memorial Day weekend. Nestled amongst the oaks in beautiful Libbey Park, a natural setting is created to showcase the rich mixture of works in a variety of mediums. Art in the Park has enjoyed a long tradition of displaying quality art. Presented by the Ojai Art Center, the oldest non-profit art center in California, the festival attracts artists from near and far. The relaxed atmosphere and approachable artists draws crowds (between 3,000 – 5,000) from Ojai and neighboring communities.

The Ojai Art Center is the oldest multi-purpose nonprofit art center in California, has been providing a place for the arts and art-related activities for more than 80 years. The City of Moorpark and The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College are partnering up to host Earth Day at The Teaching Zoo from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Family event to feature wildlife presentations, conservation information, tree and seed giveaway, and local vendors and organizations.

The Conejo Gem & Mineral Club presents its 49th Annual Pageant of a Thousand Gems on Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19, 2026 from 10am to 5pm (Sat) and 10am to 4pm (Sun) at the Borchard Community Center, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park. Admission and parking are free.

The Rotary Club of Westlake Village presents the community an opportunity to experience a traditional European winter festival with us at Holidays in the Village, A European Marketplace. They will immerse themselves in the festive warmth of the holidays as they stroll through 60 artisan shops showcasing their wares, sample an array of authentic fresh European foods and baked goods, and enjoy a warm mug of mulled wine "Gluhwein", Kinderpunsch or specialty crafted brews.

After you’ve strolled through the marketplace, explore the Festive Garden, where you’ll enjoy local live seasonal entertainment and an array of traditional fresh European faire and baked goods. Children of all ages will be enchanted when they visit Kris Kringle’s Village! Capture a magical moment with Kris Kringle and Mrs. Kringle, festive Samantha the Holiday Stiltwalker or hop aboard the Village Train Art Trek. Try face painting and an old world Village Bear Scavenger hunt for all to enjoy.
