2019 ArtWalk Ventura on Saturday, September 28th


ArtWalk Ventura, retuns for its 26th year on Saturday, September 28th from 11am to 7pm.

This signature event will take to the streets of Ventura’s historic Downtown and Westside Cultural District as patrons enjoy a free, self-guided (and shuttled) tour of dozens of professional exhibits, pop-up studios, live performances and PODS Containers transformed into mini art galleries.

ArtWalk is one of Ventura’s signature events, drawing thousands of cultural tourists from all over to appreciate artistic pieces created from over 700 artists, as well as a series of coordinated, fun-filled events. To learn more, visit www.artwalkventura.org.

Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival September 7-8, 2019

The Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival will take place September 7-8, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ventura Harbor Village, 1583 Spinnaker Dr., Ventura. This waterfront juried art festival features more than over 40 talented street chalk artists creating colorful murals along the Village promenade overlooking the boats.

Visitors to the seaside event will watch as street painters create spectacular chalk pastel murals along the promenade, and enjoy original artwork available for purchase including paintings, sculptures, woodwork and wearable items.

2019 Ventura Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft Show October 4-6

The 2019 Ventura Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft Show, is coming to Seaside Park at the Ventura County Fairgrounds October 4-6, complete with Kids' Zone with a pumpkin patch, an outdoor stage with live entertainment, and three buildings brimming with hundreds of captivating arts & crafts and specialty foods.

The unique setting brings out the best for shopping and entertainment in a fall celebration that has surprises at every turn. Only hand-made original works are permitted in this exclusive showcase that presents more than 24,000 creations. From stunning jewelry and clothing, to purses, ceramics, woodwork, blown glass, gourmet sauces, photography, ornaments, and more, there is something that appeals to all styles and tastes. Patrons appreciate the opportunity to interact with artists, get their items personalized, and even learn some helpful tips through crafting demonstrations.

2019 Simi Valley Street Fair Planned for Saturday, May 4th


The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 42nd Annual Simi Valley Street Fair on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Simi Town Center Way between First Street and Erringer Road, north of the 118 Freeway. 

This one-day community event will offer over 400 vendor booths made up of artists, crafters, businesses, commercial vendors, Simi Valley City services booths and food vendors, all showcasing their goods and services to a crowd of over 20,000 attendees. 

In addition to the wide variety of vendors, guests will also enjoy non-stop entertainment on the 5-Star Stage, a Beer and Wine Garden featuring three local craft breweries and wine from the Kieu Hoang Winery. The Chamber is excited to announce Street Fair At Sunset, which will allow attendees to enjoy the craft beer and wine garden with live entertainment until 7:30 PM! Bring the family along and take your kids to the FunZone which is FREE for kids 12 and under sponsored by Adventist Health Simi Valley. 

Parking is available at the Simi Valley Town Center. Free and convenient Shuttle Service is available from 400 National Way (Madera Rd. North of the 118 Freeway). The first 250 guests taking advantage of the shuttle service will receive a SWAG bag with coupons and goodies.

16th Annual Ojai Valley Lavender Festival Planned for Saturday, June 29, 2019

The Ojai Valley Lavender Festival is hosting its 16th annual event on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 10am-5pm.  Each year the festival takes place at Libbey Park, in the heart of historic downtown Ojai.

Sip on lavender infused lemonade as you meander the tree lined aisles of artisan wares; over 100 vendors on hand. From essential oils and lotions, to plants, art and jewelry, to delectable gourmet treats, informative classes and hands-on demonstrations – there is something for everyone at the must attend event of the summer! Relax and enjoy a picnic while listening to the soft sounds of festival musicians. Or dine at one of Ojai’s heralded eateries featuring lavender infused specially items. 45th Annual Conejo Gem & Mineral Club "Pageant of a Thousand Gems" on April 13-14, 2019

The Conejo Gem & Mineral Club presents its 45th annual Pageant of a Thousand Gems on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, 2019 from 10am to 5pm (Sat) and 10am to 4pm (Sun) at the Borchard Community Center, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park. Admission and parking are FREE!

The show will serve up lots of fun for all ages! There are many different aspects of earth science from minerals to fossils to rocks. Vendors will be selling jewelry, minerals, gems and fossils with world-wide specimens and unique one-of-a-kind pieces.
