Inaugural Fall Arts, Crafts & Antiques Festival at the Stagecoach Inn Museum Newbury Park on October 18, 2025

The Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park presents its inaugural Fall Arts, Crafts & Antiques Festival on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10am to 4pm. Entrance is free, which includes an open house at the Stagecoach Inn Museum Complex (there will be a $5 charge to tour the Inn, free to tour out buildings). There will be live music and plenty of artisans on the beautiful museum grounds.

Halloween Haunted Trail, Costume Contest and Trick-or-Treat Street in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, October 18, 2025

The Conejo Recreation & Park District will be offering a night full of Halloween fun specifically for young children on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 6:00-9:00pm at the Thousand Oaks Community Center, located at 2525 N. Moorpark Road.

The annual Haunted Trail is a short Halloween hike appropriate for kids of all ages and packed full of fun. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  At the end of the trail there will be a hayride that returns “hikers” to the “haunted trailhead.” Tickets are $5 per person (ages 2+) and MUST be purchased in advance at crpd.org.  The “Trail” will be open from 7:15-9:00pm and tickets are sold by 5 minute time slot.  (There will also be a standby line at the event; $5 per person; cash only) EVENT WILL SELL OUT, SO BUY TICKETS EARLY!

Those dressed in costume may participate in the costume contest.  Age groups range from two and under through adults.  Great prizes will be awarded for each category!  Contest starts at 6:00pm. Registration is free and takes place onsite 20 minutes prior to contest.

The popular Trick-or-Treat Street features Halloween-themed houses created by local organizations who will be ready to hand out treats from 6-8:30pm. Admission to Trick-or-Treat Street is free.

A free live reptile show will take place after the costume contest at 7:00pm.

St. Paschal Baylon Presents Conejo Fall Fest in Thousand Oaks October 17-19, 2025

The annual St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church Fall Fest is planned for Friday through Sunday, October 17-19, 2025 at 155. E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

There will be numerous carnival rides, games, free live entertainment, a variety of food options, boutique, beer garden, “Sweet Shop,” raffle, and more!

2025 Calabasas Pumpkin Festival at De Anza Park on Sunday, October 19th

The 2025 Calabasas Pumpkin Festival is planned for Sunday, October 19th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Juan Bautista de Anza Park, 3701 Lost Hills Road. Dia de los Muertos Celebration at Three Santa Paula Locations on Sunday, November 2, 2025

Guests of all ages are invited to celebrate Día de los Muertos at three locations in downtown Santa Paula on Sunday, November 2, 2025! This free, family-friendly community celebration at the Santa Paula Art Museum, Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery, and the Museum of Ventura County’s Agriculture Museum offers traditional craft-making activities, music and dance performances, altar installations, face painting, and more. Día de los Muertos attire is encouraged. Admission and activities are free for everyone.

Visitors can begin at any of the three locations and proceed to the others. Pick up an event passport at any site and have it stamped at all three locations to be entered to win a raffle prize. Free parking is available at the Santa Paula Art Museum, Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery, and the Museum of Ventura County’s Agriculture Museum. Hours and activities vary by location. Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery will celebrate with a day full of festivities to enjoy with family and friends. Build an ofrenda on a loved one’s grave or contribute to a community altar. Have your face painted, decorate a sugar skull, and listen to Mariachi music. Visit various vendors and enjoy a tamale and a cup of champurrado. Experience Aztec and Folklórico dancers, and participate in a procession through the cemetery. Catholic Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., with the blessing of graves to follow, led by Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.

Join Santa Paula’s Agriculture Museum in celebrating Día de los Muertos with a special DIY turmeric anthotypes activity using marigolds. With this project, guests will learn the cultural significance of marigolds and how plants can be used as natural dyes to decorate handkerchiefs. Visitors will also have access to the Museum’s outdoor garden and exhibition, “Enfoque: Voces Indígenas Mexicanas del Condado de Ventura/ In Focus: Mexican Indigenous Voices of Ventura County.”
