Five Below opened at the Simi Valley Town Center on October 12th. According to a recent press release:

The Pallet Westlake Village is a one stop do-it-yourself shop that makes succulent arrangements and hosts workshops and private crafting parties. The shop also sells mugs, candles, succulents, garden supply items, pots and more, almost entirely from local crafters. Owners of The Pallet have lived in the Conejo Valley their entire lives and are excited to share their love of gardening and crafting with the community!

The Pallet is hosting an official grand opening event on Sunday, October 14th from noon to 5pm, featuring raffles, treats and product giveaways.
Signs are up and construction is moving along for a new Whole Foods Market coming to the Civic Center area of Malibu (Civic Center Way at Cross Creek Road). Anticipated opening date is Spring 2019.
The Whole Foods and the Park projects totals nearly 6 acres and consists of a 38,425 sq ft shopping center, including a 24,549 sq ft Whole Foods Market and four smaller commercial retail buildings totaling 13,876 sq ft.

Trader Joe’s is opening a new location at 23741 Calabasas Road in Calabasas, across the street from The Commons at Calabasas.
The building used to be Babies R Us. Next to Trader Joe’s is Ulta Beauty.

No updates on the Newbury Park LA Fitness location at this time that is being constructed at the new Lowe’s location at the northwest corner of Grande Vista Drive and Academy Drive. Anticipated completion date is in the early 2019 time frame.

Dollar Tree looks to be opening soon in the Westlake Village Marketplace, 5770 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Dollar Tree is subleasing the 12,500 sq ft space from Smart & Final in a 10 year sublease.
