Teko's Brazilian Grill Now Open at North Ranch Gateway in Westlake Village

Update 2/5/17: Teko's Brazilian Grill opened a couple of weeks ago. Their phone is 818.532.7710. Their menu includes a salad bar, hot dishes and Churrasco BBQ. The food is priced by the pound; $8.95/lb for the salad bar and/or hot dishes; $10.25/lb for salad bar, hot dishes and Churrasco and $15.95/lb for Churrasco BBQ only. Visit tekosbraziliangrill.com.

Looks like a Teko's Brazilian Grill is planning on opening in the North Ranch Gateway at 30869 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, across the parking lot from the soon to open Dunkin' Donuts and next to Domino's Pizza.

No other information at this point, so stay tuned.

Taj Express Indian Cuisine Opening Soon to North Ranch Plaza in Westlake Village

UPDATE: Taj Express opened in February 2017 but subsequently closed in the October 2017 time frame. That didn't last long!

Amelia S noted to us via the Conejo Valley Guide Facebook Page that the former Jinky's Chili Cafe at the North Ranch Plaza, 3825 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Westlake Village, has a sign that says Taj Express Indian Cuisine is coming soon to this location. Located between Jersey Mike's and Dickey's BBQ Pit. Stay tuned.

Parma Pizzeria Napoletana Now Open in Thousand Oaks

Final Update 1/27/17: Parma Pizzeria is in "soft opening" mode effective two days ago, with limited pizza offerings, but expanding for its grand opening in about 10 days. Offering delicious, mouth-watering Detroit-style pizza!

Update 12/30/16: Parma Pizzeria Napoletana indicated on November 18th on its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/parmapizzeria that it nearing completion of the pizzeria.

Original Post 6/5/16: There's a "coming soon" sign out at 796 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Thousand Oaks for a new eatery, Parma Pizzeria Napoletana. 

The domain name for Parma Pizzeria Napoletana at parmapizzerianapoletana.com is not functional yet and a Facebook page could not be found. However, a little searching around took me to a May 1, 2016 article in Bass Musician magazine, an interview with bassist Mick Mahan. Mahan has played, toured and recorded with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo since 1994 and has played with countless other artists over the years.

But in that article, when asked what's going on now, Mick indicated in addition to going on a Pat Benatar summer tour, "after many years of research and planning, I'm finally realizing a dream of mine this year and opening a pizzeria called 'Parma Pizzeria Napoletana."

Grabbagreen Coming Soon to Thousand Oaks (on Saturday, January 28th)

Update 1/26/17: Grabbagreen indicates they will be opening on Saturday, January 28th at 7 a.m. The Thousand Oaks location will be open Monday-Saturday from 7:00am-9:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am-8:00pm. Thanks for the heads up yet again from CVG Facebook Page follower Amelia S for letting us know that Grabbagreen is coming soon to Thousand Oaks, at the former home of Tile City at 2835 Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Looks like this will be awesome addition to the Conejo Valley, particularly to those who like to eat healthy foods! According to the Grabbagreen website:

Longevity Coffee Appears To Be Coming Soon to Skyline Center in Thousand Oaks (NOW OPEN)

Longevity Coffee opened in the fall of 2017.

Amelia S recently pointed out via the CVG Facebook Page that there's a sign up at a storefront at Skyline Center (Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Skyline Drive) in Thousand Oaks (you know, where Tile City and Crown and Anchor reside) indicating Longevity Coffee "The Future of Coffee" is coming soon. "Organic. Low Acid. Delicious."

Sounds pretty darn good to me. The storefront is next to a consignment sporting goods store.

Posted 10/8/16: Famous Dave's Thousand Oaks closed its doors nearly two years ago. The building is currently undergoing construction to subdivide the building into 3 units to accommodate new restaurant use and to allow for outdoor dining areas.

The first new tenant slated to occupy the space is The Habit Burger Grill, joining other Habit Burger locations in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Simi Valley (2), Ventura (2) and Oxnard. Timing TBA. www.habitburger.com

RELM Wine & Beer Bistro in Camarillo Opened in December (now Onyx Bistro)

Located in the Camarillo Village Square at the corner of Arneill Road and Las Posas Road, RELM Wine & Food Bistro opened its doors last month. 

RELM (Relax, Enjoy, Laugh More) serves 12 wines by the glass, 8 local draft beers and a variety of small plated items like prosciutto and goat cheese rolls, caprese, sliders, baked brie, flatbreads and more. Also offers live music at 7 pm on Friday/Saturday nights.

Treehouse Tavern & Grill Opened Last November in Agoura Hills

UPDATE: Closed as of sometime in the latter part of 2017.

The Treehouse Tavern & Grill opened in the former home of Padri Martini Bar at 29008 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills last November. 

Under new ownership, Treehouse's menue includes entrees like honey lime glazed chicken, flat iron steak, New Zealand lamb chops, fresh Alaskan pan seared cod, fresh blackened salmon and more, as well as burgers, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads and a range of starters.

Several dozen draft/craft beers on tap, signature cocktails, wine and more. Live music too. Check website for details.

Blaze Pizza Coming Soon to Westlake Village

Update 7/18/17: Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza will open its Thousand Oaks location on Thursday, July 20th. To celebrate the grand opening, the Thousand Oaks restaurant will offer FREE build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, July 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Located at the Northgate Plaza (3890 Thousand Oaks Blvd.)*, this location joins a growing network of over 60 Blaze Pizzas now open across Southern California.

Blaze Pizza is opening soon in Westlake Village at 3982 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, one of the new eateries coming to where the former home of Famous Dave's used to be. Blaze is also opening a new location at The Esplanade in Oxnard.
