Kids World Indoor Playground in Oak Park

Kids World Indoor Playground is an indoor playground that has a large "Ballocity" play structure, featuring a series of climbing tubes, slides, foam ball launchers, a separate toddler structure for ages 0 to 3, indoor basketball room, arcade and more, along with a restaurant serving salads, pasta, sandwiches/wraps, pizzas and burgers.

General admission (as of October 2019) is $13.99 for ages 2 to 15, $11.99 military/first responders. Toddlers 13-23 months are $6.99; 12 months and under are free. No charge for adults. Discount passes for multiple visits and membership packages for unlimited play are available.  Socks must be worn by kids and adults. Check for hours.

Kids World also offers two hour field trips with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) component. The STEM program focuses on properties of gas, Newtonian physics and simple machines.

Oak Canyon Community Park in Oak Park


Oak Canyon Community Park is located at 5600 Hollytree Drive in Oak Park at Kanan. This is a nicely appointed park with a children's splash pad, playgrounds, lagoon/pond with ducks, dog park and plenty of open space.

Indian Springs Park in Oak Park

Indian Springs Park, located at the corner of Rockfield Street and Hawthorne Drive in Oak Park, is a nice sized, flat residential park with a number of amenities. The park has two playgrounds (bigger kids and little kids), tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball court, restrooms and more. Visit or call 805.584.4400 for more information.

This is one of the only local parks I can think of that has one of these metal spinner things (official terminology). I didn't last long on it as my kids pushed me around.

Blast City Laser Tag in Oak Park

Located at 618 Lindero Canyon Road, Oak Park (at Kanan; and next to Kids World Indoor Playground), Blast City is a two-story high, state of the art, fully immersive, mission-based, role-playing laser tag experience for ages 5 years and up.  It is located adjacent to Kids World with its own separate entrance. 

Blast City Laser Tag game play consists of three different game "Chapters" that will move players from beginner-level recruit to high-tech warrior. Players begin by having fun while learning the arena layout and laser tag equipment, then advance along the way to become a laser tag Overlord- in complete and total command of the arena.

The game Chapters are segments of an evolving story based in the not-too-distant-future that combine 18 missions and game levels of exciting, mission-based role playing laser tag featuring multiple obstacles and types of targets.

Blast City also features a cool, modern arcade and party rooms. Blast City is a great place for birthday parties as well as team building, company events and groups of all ages.

Agoura/Oak Park Chargers Football is for kids ages 8 to 14, including the following age divisions:  Pee Wee (ages 8-9, 45-115 lb weight range), Bantam (ages 10-11, 75-130 lb weight range), Midget (ages 11-12, 95-145 lb range), Junior (12-13, 105-160 lb range) and Senior (age 13-14, 190 lbs maximum). Weight limits increase for playoffs.

The Chargers are a member of the Pacific Youth Football League.
