The Bamboo Room is Opening at The Shoppes at Westlake Village on Thursday, June 10th

The Bamboo Room is opening its doors at 8pm tomorrow at The Shoppes at Westlake Village, next to 101 North. The Bamboo Room is an indoor/outdoor craft cocktail lounge and private event space where you can reserve a table for bottle service or walk in on a first come, first serve basis. Bamboo Room will be open weekly Thursday-Sunday from 8 p.m. to close. Bamboo Room’s wide range of signature cocktails include, but are not limited to, craft cocktails, beer, sake, wine and bottle service.

Sweetgreen is Opening August 31st at The Promenade at Westlake in Westlake Village

UPDATE: Sweetgreen is opening to the public on Tuesday, August 31st.

sweetgreen is coming soon to The Promenade at Westlake here in the Conejo Valley. I believe it will be located in the space formerly occupied by Lemonade.

sweetgreen is a fast casual eatery that serves salads and grain bowls. Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka recently became an investor in sweetgreen and has a bowl named after her that includes warm quinoa, baby spinach, cilantro, tomato, tortilla chips, raw carrots, avocado, goat cheese, blackened chicken, lime cilantro jalapeno vinaigrette and sweetgreen hot sauce.

sweetgreen currently has 121 locations, including Studio City, Brentwood, Santa Monica and Century City.

Country Harvest to Open Moorpark Location in June

Country Harvest has served down home cooking to the local community of Newbury Park in the Conejo Valley for nearly 20 years.

The 2nd of 3 dining establishments that have replaced the former Hooters location at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks opened today. And on a down stock market day, Wingstop stock (NASDAQ: WING - what else?) was up .41%….perhaps because of this new Conejo Valley location. Or perhaps not :)

Azuki Tea Coming Soon to North Ranch Shopping Center in Westlake Village (Now Open)

Another new place coming soon to the North Ranch Shopping Center at 3835 East Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Westlake Village is Azuki Tea.

I believe this will be a boba place. We shall find out more soon. Thanks to Amelia S for the heads up.

Azuki Tea will be located in the former Takahashi Sushi spot.

Amy's Drive Thru to Bring Organic Fast Food to Thousand Oaks in Early 2022 (UPDATE: June 15, 2023)

Amy’s Drive Thru is bringing organic fast food to Thousand Oaks in early 2022. This will be the first location for the organic fast food chain in Southern California and part of its larger plan to expand up and down the West Coast throughout the next five years.

The location of Amy’s Drive Thru Thousand Oaks will be 400 N. Moorpark Road - the former home of Mimi’s Cafe.

Amy’s Drive Thru was started by the Berliners, the same family that founded Amy’s Kitchen and pioneered the organic food movement. Continuing their mission to make it easy and enjoyable for everyone to eat well, the Berliners opened Amy’s Drive Thru, a fresh take on classic American fast food, in 2015. Everything on the Amy's Drive Thru is vegetarian and made to order, including its popular and tasty burgers, fries, milkshakes, and salads all made from organic ingredients, served thoughtfully and sustainably. From menu to packaging to restaurant design, the Drive Thru operates as sustainably as possible, striving for zero waste and zero impact at each location.
