New West Symphony - Thousand Oaks


Led by music director Marcelo Lehninger, the New West Symphony performs in three concert halls; the 1,600-seat Oxnard Performing Arts Center, the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, and the 1,200-seat Barnum Hall on the campus of Santa Monica High School.

The New West Symphony is a 501(c)3 non-profit governed by a 50-member board of directors. Masterpiece Series consists of 18 classical concerts annually, from September through May. The New West Symphony has a core audience of over 2,500 subscribers. International guest artists are featured soloists, as well as New West principal players from time to time.
