LA Kings Iceoplex Ice Arena in Simi Valley

The LA Kings Iceoplex Ice Arena (formerly Iceoplex Ice Arena) is located at 131 West Easy Street, Simi Valley and offers year-round indoor skating.  Iceoplex offers public skating at designated times 7 days a week, skating classes, hockey leagues, figure skating, curling league and more. This is a 60,000 square foot facility with two ice skating rinks. Also available for birthday parties.

General admission for public skating is $17 per skater, which includes skate rental, for all ages (as of January 2024).

In 2023, Iceoplex become a branding partner of the Los Angeles Kings. This partnership will help support local youth hockey development programs. The new name of the facility is the LA Kings Iceoplex Ice Arena.

VC Arena Indoor Soccer Facility in Camarillo

VC Arena is an indoor soccer facility located in Camarillo that offers youth, co-ed and adult competitive and recreational leagues in soccer and flag football.   It is located at 795 Camarillo Springs Road, Suite G, behind Camarillo Springs. Its field uses the latest in artificial turf technology.

Adult Sports Leagues - Conejo Valley

The Conejo Recreation and Park District offers the following summer sports leagues for adults (ages 16+).  Games are generally played at Thousand Oaks Community Center, Borchard Community Center Peppertree Playfields and Dos Vientos Community Center.

Pacific Coast Baseball League

Pacific Coast Baseball League was established in 1993 and currently has over 120 teams and 2.500 players in the Southland. Spring/Summer pre-season starts in February.  Fall season is September to November. 

There are four divisions, all for players 18 years and older.  The National Division is for those with college or higher experience (including pros/ex-pros).  The American Division is for those with high school varsity experience.  The Federal Division is for those who have less experience but enjoy hardball.

Southern California Field Hockey Federation

The Southern California Field Hockey Federation was established in 1972 to organize and operate field hockey in the local area. Games are played at Moorpark College.

Local clubs include the Camarillo Cougars, Conejo Valley Bulldogs, Simi Valley Kings, Moorpark Coyotes, Ventura Roadrunners and others.

Depending on demand, adult and junior divisions for fall and spring may include:

  • Mixed U8, U10 and U12

  • Girls U14 and U19

  • Boys U14 and U19

  • Women, Men and Mixed

CLUBWAKA® is the new name for the World Adult Kickball Association® - the preeminent adult kickball organization and the world authority and governing body of kickball. CLUBWAKA kickball is real fun for real people. The average CLUBWAKA Kickball player is a young professional (21+). Leagues are co-ed and play is like the elementary school game you remember – the one with the big red playground ball. It's an easy game that is open to all skill levels.

Coyote Point Disc Golf at Lake Casitas

Coyote Point Disc Golf Course is a beautiful, challenging course overlooking Lake Casitas. The course is set in rugged terrain with concrete tee pads and is maintained by the Ventura Disc Golf Club. There are plenty of tight shots and elevation changes so you will use every shot imaginable as well as a few different discs.

Hiking type shoes are a must for this course and be sure to bring water. Camping near the course is available. Reservations can be made through the Lake reservation staff at (805)-649-1122, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The course is free, but vehicle entry is $10/$20 for day use.

The Ventura County Rugby Club was formed in late summer 2009 out of a need for a new Rugby Club for Ventura County. There are men’s, women’s and youth (boys and girls ages 12 to 18) teams. No experience is necessary to join.  If you have soccer cleats to wear, it will help. Otherwise, just come as you are.
