Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District presents the 2024 Music in the Park free concert series at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley. Concerts begin at 6:30pm. Lineup is as follows:

Saturday, June 15: The Garth Guy (Garth Brooks Tribute)

Saturday, July 20: Fooz Fighters (Foo Fighters Tribute)

Saturday, August 17: Queen Nation (Queen Tribute)

2024 Music in the Park at Oak Canyon Community Park in Oak Park on July 13 - DSB - Journey Tribute)

Join in on an evening of free entertainment and listen to DSB - Tribute to Journey on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park at 6:30pm.

A free shuttle is provided at the entrance to the park and from Oak Park High School.

Bring blankets and chairs.

Dogs on a leash are allowed on the perimeters but not in the main event area.

No smoking/vaping is allowed outside of the designated smoking area.

Umbrellas/canopies are allowed on the outside perimeter.

Alcohol is permitted, intoxication is not. Please drink responsibly. Park Rangers will be on-site to strictly monitor alcohol consumption and enforce park rules.

Beachfront Run Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Run in Ventura on Saturday, June 8, 2024

The Ventura Beachfront Run (1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run) will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024 with a scenic course along the beautiful coastline.  The race will begin on the north side of the Ventura Pier, 668 Harbor Boulevard. 

The half marathon and 10K runs along the oceanfront promenade and extends along the Pacific Coast Highway creating a flat and scenic course.  The 5K runs out and back along the oceanfront promenade.  Half marathon starts at 7 am. 2024 Sun Sets Summer Concert Series on Sunday Nights at Calabasas Lake - June to August

Spend your summer Sundays with great live music at the 2024 Summer Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake

The traditionally private Calabasas Lake opens its doors to concert goers, providing a scenic backdrop and ample field seating for picnickers. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Some fixed seating is available on a first come first served basis. All performances are free to the public.

47th Annual Thousand Oaks Chili Cook-Off, Car Show and Craft Brew Festival on Sunday, May 5, 2024

Mark your calendars for the 47th Annual Thousand Oaks Chili Cook-Off, Car Show & Craft Brew Festival on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Held from noon – 5pm (11:00 am entry for VIP tickets), this family friendly extravaganza will take place at Conejo Creek Park North at Janss Rd & Hwy 23 in Thousand Oaks.

There will be over 40 chili tasting booths – and included with your general admission is free unlimited chili tasting. Returning again is the popular Craft Brew Festival – an event within an event – with a multitude of participating breweries! There will also be a Classic & Custom Car Show in several style and vintage categories and live music on two stages. Also on hand will be over a dozen food trucks and beverage booths and a free kids’ fun zone.

The Chili Cook-Off is proudly presented by the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, with 100% of the net proceeds going to local charities.  Day of event general admission is $25, VIP for $40, with kids 10 & under getting in for free; $75 gets you all the fun of the Cook-Off plus exclusive admission to the Craft Brew Festival, and the top ticket package for VIP/Chili/Craft Brew tickets goes for $100. Welcome to CSCVVSB’s 6th Annual Hope Walk taking place at Cal Lutheran University on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. This event is held in combination with National Cancer Survivors Day. Activities include a 5k walk (shorter route available), survivors’ lap, music, booths, food, kids’ activities, etc.

For 33 years, CSCVVSB has worked to fulfill its mission ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. We offer professionally led support groups, individual counseling, networking groups, educational workshops, and healthy lifestyle classes. These programs are at no cost to participants.

35th Annual Knights of Columbus Chili Cook-Off & Car Show in Simi Valley on Saturday, June 22, 2024

The 35th Annual Simi Valley Knights of Columbus Chili Cook-Off & Car Show is planned for Saturday, June 22, 2024 on the St Rose of Lima church grounds at 1305 Royal Ave, Simi Valley. Event hours are 10am to 4pm.

Sample chili, explore cars and enjoy the day with family and friends! Live bands and entertainment, large kids area, chili tasting galore, car show (over 100 cars) and vendors. There will also be plenty of vendors booths and ample quantities of food and drink.

Overflow parking available across the street at Royal High School.

General admission to the daytime event is $20. Seniors, children under 13 and active military with ID are $10. Family pass $50. Admission includes chili tastings, until the chili is gone.

Camarillo Old Town Friday Night Car Cruise - 4th Fridays April through October 2024

The Camarillo Old Town Friday Night Cruise is back for 2024 on the 4th Friday of the month from April through October from 4-7 p.m.

2024 dates: April 26, May 24, June 28, July 26, August 23, September 27 and October 25.
