The Conejo Recreation & Park District’s 2024 Touch-A-Truck will be held on Saturday, June 15th, from 10:00am-2:00pm at Thousand Oaks Community Park, 2525 N. Moorpark Rd. in Thousand Oaks.

This popular event allows kids to have fun kicking the tires, honking the horns, and climbing up into the driver’s seat of their favorite trucks and construction vehicles such as a garbage truck, an Army truck, tractor, excavator, dump truck, school bus, fire engine, ambulance, bulldozer, police cruiser, SWAT vehicle, K-9 and search and rescue vehicles, motorcycles, and more!

In addition to dozens of trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes, there are tons of fun activities, including arts and crafts, a kids’ construction zone, jolly jumps, and a motorized train ride. Water balloons will drop from a cherry picker, and beach balls will be unloaded from a dump truck! The parking lot fills up quickly, so be prepared to park at the Thousand Oaks High School parking lot. Admission is free for all ages. Food trucks will be onsite. Simi Valley Police Department Touch A Truck Event on Saturday, December 2, 2023

The Simi Valley Police Department is hosting a Touch A Truck event on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 9am to 2pm at the Simi Valley City Hall front parking lot, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. In lieu of admission, please bring new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Spark of Love.

There will be trucks and equipment on display from the Simi Valley Police Department, Ventura County Fire, Public Works, and various other public and private organizations. Everyone, especially kids will be allowed access to these vehicles and adults will be able to interact with those persons that use the vehicles and equipment.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds to not only support the Holiday Toy Drive, but also to support unfunded programs, services and technology for the Simi Valley Police Department. These include support for the K9 program, "Save a Life" AED program, Police Explores, SWAT, Bicycle Patrol, Every 15 Minutes program, Crime Prevention, Parenting Project, and many other worthy programs.

The Conejo Recreation & Park District is hosting a Touch-A-Truck Parade at Conejo Creek Park North, 1379 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks (behind the Thousand Oaks Library) on Saturday, July 31, 2021 starting at 10 a.m.

After a hiatus in 2020, this event, usually hosted on Father’s Day weekend, has a new take this year. Access to the park will be walk-in only. Bring wagons, strollers and lawn chairs. Gourmet food trucks will be on hand. Free admission. Visit www.crpd.org/truck for more information.

First Annual Touch-a-Truck event hosted by the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center on Saturday, April 25, 2010, 10am to 1pm at 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas.

This is a family friendly event that gives kids the opportunity to climb in to the seat of their favorite truck or vehicle, honk the horn and pose for photos! They will get to learn and explore about all types of vehicles including emergency, construction, utility, transportation and much more! In addition, there will be fun activities, including arts & crafts, face painting, jolly jumps, and more.
