2023 Hueneme Beach Festival Planned for August 26-27

The City of Port Hueneme and REACH Foundation present the Hueneme Beach Festival the weekend of August 26-27, 2023. Hours are 11am to 7pm both days.

Event to include live music on two stages, great food, children’s activities, carnival rides, vendors, chalk art exhibition, the popular sand sculpture contest and more at Hueneme Beach Park, located at 550 E. Surfside Dr., Port Hueneme. Free admission. Parking $10. (Free park and ride available from Hueneme Community Center and Bard Elementary School.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26th:

  • 11:30AM: Morie & the Heavy Hitters (reggae)

  • 2PM: Joyas Prestadas - A Tribute to Jenni Rivera

2023 Port of Hueneme Banana Festival Planned for Saturday, September 30th

The Port of Hueneme Banana Festival will be back on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Festival guests will enjoy a variety of delicious foods, including BBQ, empanadas, gourmet grilled cheese, sushi burritos, shaved ice, banana splits (of course!), banana beignets and more. Each food vendor will offer at least one unique banana dish.

The festival also features live bands, beer & margaritas, arts and crafts vendors, and kids’ crafts and activities. Free tours of the port are available that highlight 80 years as Ventura County’s only working port. Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn more about the Port’s history, customers, imports/exports and environmental contributions at the Festival’s Port Pavilion. The Festival is located on the Port of Hueneme, with the entrance at the corner of Surfside Drive & Market Street. Free admission and parking at the beach lots.
