"Day of the Horse" Showdeo Event in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, October 22, 2022

Don’t miss this great tradition celebrating the history and culture of our vibrant equestrian community in the Conejo Valley.

Day of the Horse on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11 am to 3 pm is a FREE family friendly event open to the public and is full of fun activities aimed to educate and spread knowledge about horses. This open house event is located on our 30-acre Conejo Creek Equestrian Park that is part of the Conejo Recreation & Park District.

Activities available from 11 am to 3 pm and will include: *Horse Demonstrations * Beanbag Boot Toss * Stick Horse Racing * Roping Station *Critter Corral * Art Station * Pony Photo Booth

Food vendors include: Mister Softee and Reds Backdoor Catering

We are excited to present our first ever Showdeo, an accelerated show with top notch equestrian specialty acts designed to entertain. Our feature act will participate in an Extreme Cowboy race and demonstrate Garrocha Pole. Showdeo is at noon and 1:30 pm.

Johnny Flores was 2020 EXCA World Champion, Intermediate division. He also trains and competes in VRH and has qualified for the AQHA World show this year.
