4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Event at Janss Marketplace on Tuesday, July 4, 2023

The public is invited to the best FREE Conejo Valley July 4th community celebration and fireworks viewing at Janss Marketplace. The event, which begins at 5 p.m., features live music, children’s entertainment, a pie eating contest and food booths. The patriotic holiday celebration finale fireworks at 9 p.m. are presented by Conejo Recreation and Park District and City of Thousand Oaks.

Entry is free to the July 4th event activities and fireworks viewing area on the rooftop at Janss Marketplace, located at 275 North Moorpark Road East in Thousand Oaks, just off the 101 Freeway at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive. Bring folding chairs and arrive early to ensure access to the shopping center’s rooftop event area. The distribution of the free wristbands that are required to enter the rooftop event area begins at 5 p.m. at the event booth, which will be located near the main fountain.

The Journey USA tribute band will perform the signature sounds Journey If you love pie, you could win $300 in the July 4th Pie Eating Contest. The contest is open to pie lovers age 18 or older. For entry information send an email to info@janssmarketplace.com. If any pie eating contest spots are still available on the 4th, sign up by 7 p.m. at the event booth.

July 4th Fireworks Spectacular attendees can enjoy great food with a selection of restaurants, including Greco’s New York Pizzeria and Sunset Terrace, which will have food and beverage booths at the event. Other Janss eateries will also be open for dine-in and take-out food.
