Continued Progress at the Lowe's / LA Fitness in Newbury Park (UPDATE: July 3 to 8, 2019)
/UPDATE: I’ve heard that LA Fitness Newbury Park will open sometime between July 3 and July 8, 2019.
Grading started over a year ago at the Lowe’s / LA Fitness at the northwest corner of Grande Vista Drive and Academy Drive in Newbury Park. Construction seems to be progressing nicely at this point, as evidenced by the photos below over the past week.
LA Fitness is now taking pre-opening memberships out of the former GNC at 1025 Broadbeck Drive (in The Village at Newbury Park), next to Subway. The 37,000 square foot facility, anticipated to open in the Spring 2019 time frame, is considered a Signature Club that among other things will feature an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, hot yoga and much more.
