Family Theatre Performances of A Christmas Story, Madagascar and Charlotte's Web in Thousand Oaks 2017-2018

Young Artists Ensemble announces its 37th Annual Family Theatre Season: The Season of Family.  This season audiences are first invited to celebrate the holiday season, then travel to exotic locations (like the Central Park Zoo) to join a group of lovable "wild" animals on their adventures, and finally visit a farm to meet Wilbur and Charlotte, whose unlikely friendship will warm all hearts.

A Christmas Story, The Musical is a Holiday favorite coming to life in this new onstage production. Will Santa bring Ralphie his beloved Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas? Will Dad win a MAJOR AWARD?  Will Flick get his tongue unstuck from a frozen flagpole? Why watch the movie marathon on TV, when you can experience all the musical magic LIVE onstage November 3 – 19, 2017?

Dreamworks' Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr.  reminds audiences that you have no choice but to “MOVE IT, MOVE IT” as Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo, and some crafty penguins escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo. Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, this Zooful of fun will perform February 2 – 18, 2018.  An additional weekend includes performance by CONEJO THEATRE FOR EVERYONE.

Charlotte’s Web is the beloved story of a little girl who is given a piglet, which she names Wilbur, to raise as a pet. As Wilbur grows though, he becomes too costly for the farmers’ daughter to keep and is sold to her uncle. Wilbur has trouble making friends with the other animals on this new farm, until he meets Charlotte, a smart and caring spider, who becomes his savior and his most loyal friend.  CHARLOTTE’S WEB is the third and final production in Young Artists Ensemble’s 37th Annual Family Theatre Season and is presented May 4 – 20, 2018.

Season tickets are available for all three shows starting at only $30 for adults, children, students and seniors for the Super Discount Friday performances on the second or third Fridays of each production, or tailor your season for $39 adults and $33 children, students and seniors.  Individual show tickets are $19 for adults and $16 for children, students and seniors.  Tickets can be purchased at the box office, or by calling (805) 381-1246 or visiting www.yaeonline.com. 10% discount for groups of ten or more for a single performance only, not available for season tickets.
