Tribute to the Photographic Legacy of Ed Lawrence Event in Newbury Park on November 4th

“Preserving our History one Picture at a Time” - A tribute to the legacy of Ed Lawrence benefiting the local history collections at the Thousand Oaks Library on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm.

Event to take place at the Thousand Oaks Community Art Gallery, 2331 Borchard Road, Suite A, Newbury Park (next to the Newbury Park Library)

Enjoy a reception, entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and no host bar and slide show narrated by Ed Lawrence entitled “Conejo Valley: Then and Now”

Iconic as well as never before seen images. Autographed images and merchandise featuring images by Ed Lawrence will be available for purchase that evening.

Friends paying tribute to Ed that evening will be:

  • Chuck Cohen, former mayor city of Thousand Oaks
  • Jim Friedl, General Manager, Conejo Valley Recreation and Park District
  • Larry Janss, owner Four Friends Gallery, early resident
  • Chris Kimball, President, California Lutheran University
  • Wyatt McCrea, Mc Crea Ranch Foundation

The gallery will display a collection of Ed Lawrence’s work through November 12th.
