Stronger Families, Safer Kids 5K Walk/Run in Camarillo on Saturday, April 21, 2018

The 4th Annual “Stronger Families, Safer Kids” 5K fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 as April is National Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The Partnership for Safe Families and its members recognize the impact that child abuse and neglect has on families and communities. Child abuse and neglect can have enduring physical, intellectual, and psychological repercussions into adolescence and adulthood. All types of child abuse and neglect have long lasting effects throughout life, damaging a child’s sense of self, ability to have healthy relationships, and ability to function at home, at work, and at school.

Your support will help to raise awareness in Ventura County about how we can all work together to strengthen families and protect our children.
