Dec 2 event has been cancelled due to large intake of animals rescues from wildfires.
The Humane Society of Ventura County’s 33rd Annual Santa Paws holiday photo shoot will take place on Sunday, November 18th and Sunday, December 2nd from 10am to 3pm at the Ojai Shelter. The December 2nd date will also feature a bake sale and Firefly Ceramics will be on hand providing the materials to make ceramic paw print ornaments for a $25 donation to the Shelter.
Santa Paws is the Society’s largest event, bringing in nearly 300 families to celebrate the holidays with professional quality photographs with a holiday theme. The money raised at Santa Paws goes directly towards the daily operations at the Shelter.
Adults, children and pets are welcome in photos-with or without Santa. The Shelter will have many festive costumes to doll up your pets if you are in the mood. Pocket pets, reptiles, rabbits, and birds are all welcome!
As a private nonprofit, the Humane Society of Ventura County relies 100% on private donations from individuals, organizations, businesses and through grants and trusts. In any given year, the Society makes contact with thousands of animals through adoptions, low-cost spay and neuter clinic, our Humane Officers and outreach efforts.
Donations are vital to the organization and are tax deductible.
The packages for your holiday photo session start at $30 and include 5-10 images. For a larger donation you will also have access to some wonderful HSVC keepsakes including the 2019 HSVC Calendar and more. All images will be provided on-site on a USB flash drive.
Humane Society of Ventura County is located at 402 Bryant Street, Ojai.
