Blending the Victorian era and technology with a bit of science fiction and fantasy mixed in, Oxnard Steampunk Fest, is a Halloween/Steampunk event themed “All Hallowstream” – it’s all that is whimsical with costumed characters, merchants and presenters. Translation? Think of airships, goggles, jet packs, corsets, top hats, parasols, combined with imagination and wee bit of whimsy. The event takes place on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at historic Heritage Square in Downtown Oxnard. A fundraiser for Oxnard Heritage Foundation and Friends of Heritage Square, the cost is $10 per person with children under 12 free.
