The Hope4Kids Festival and Run will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Camarillo Community Center Park, 1605 E Burnley Street from 8am-2pm.
This all volunteer event hosts a 5K & 10K Run as well as a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run, food trucks, silent auction, 40+ vendor booths, community performances and a FREE Kidzone (bounce houses, reptile family, rock wall, video gaming truck and more). Additionally, there will be a Foster & Adoption Fair featuring profiles of children currently in need of homes.
The HOPE4Kids Festival and Run was created to draw attention to the shortage of foster and adoptive families throughout the county. Currently there are approximately 1200 children in the foster care system and only 500 foster homes. 100% of the net proceeds directly benefit foster youth in Ventura County and provide for needs related to education, extracurricular activities, mentoring and more.
This is a smoke free event. For more information on the event or to register to run, visit: www.raisinghope.org/hope4kids/run-details.
