Archaeology Day at the Chumash Indian Museum will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from noon to 4pm. Kids can enjoy archaeological activities including excavating and laboratory analysis of artifacts. Archaeologist will be working with kids to highlight the importance of archaeology in understanding the past inhabitants of our local area. Free event with admission to the museum - including a craft, either a paper mache swordfish mask or an abalone shell necklace.
