42nd Annual Ventura Harbor Holiday Parade of Lights on December 14-15, 2018

Ventura Harbor celebrates the season with its 42nd Annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Friday, December 14th and Saturday, December 15th starting at 6:30 pm.

The two-day fun filled event includes a carnival, seaside shopping and dining followed by the lighted boat parade at 6:30 pm. Parking and admission are free.

Friday, December 14

5pm – Kids Rides & Festivities | 6:30pm – Parade | 8pm – Fireworks (weather pending)

First night of the boat parade! Dine seaside and take a harbor cruise to see the lights or relax on the promenade with a hot cocoa to watch the twinkly boats.

Saturday, December 15

1pm to 9pm – Kids Rides & Festivties | 1pm to 5pm Winter Wonderland | 5pm-6:30pm – 70’s Dance Party | 6:30pm – Parade |  8pm – Fireworks (weather pending)

Arrive early to partake in Ventura Harbor Village’s Winter Wonderland & Holiday Marketplace with festive carolers, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, live reindeer, holiday characters, faux snowfall, holiday gift shopping, European Christmas Marketplace with artisans, and more!

16th Annual "Stand Up for Kids" Gala Dinner & Auction in Westlake Village on October 20, 2018

Step back in time and experience a decade full of glitz, glamour and old-fashioned fun during the 16th Annual ‘Stand Up for Kids’ Gala Dinner & Auction hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley.  Centered around a 1920’s theme, the event takes place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.

The annual Gala Dinner & Auction is the largest fundraising event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley.  Evening highlights include a silent & live auction, gourmet dining, entertainment, and dancing.  The Gala helps support over 4,200 children in quality before and after school programs, sport leagues and summer camps.

The 2018 Gala Honorees are Tom & Shelley Schlender and the Cal Johnston Award will be presented to Joe Seetoo.  Erika D. Beck, President of California State University Channel Islands will be Master of Ceremonies and Jeff Tanenbaum will serve as the auctioneer.

The Camarillo Arts Council presents the 2018 Summer Concert and Film Series at Constitution Park in Camarillo at the corner of Carmen Drive and Paseo Camarillo. All events are on Saturday nights. The City of Ventura Cultural Affairs Division presents the 31st year of the popular Music Under the Stars series, Saturday nights beginning July 14th through September 1st. This year Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara will hold the "Seasons of Hope" Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village on April 28, 2018. 

The Gala includes an evening of activities hosted by this year’s Master of Ceremonies, Cristina Ferrare, including a cocktail reception, 3-course dinner, live entertainment, dancing, silent, and an exciting live auction. The evening promises to honor those that have made a notable impact on the well-being of local cancer patients and their families through their connection to Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara. 

Proceeds from the event benefit Cancer Support Community allowing them to continue providing cancer support, education, and hope, free of charge, for people affected by cancer and their loved ones.
