2019 4th of July Fireworks at Camarillo High School

The City of Camarillo has announced that due to anticipated installation of artificial turf at the high school this summer, the annual 4th of July celebration will need to be scaled back. But the fireworks show will go on!

Camarillo High School football stadium is located at 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd.

Gates to the stadium open at 7pm and admission will be FREE for all attendees.

All seating/viewing will be from the home bleachers of the stadium. No seating will be allowed on the football field and no activities are planned for kids on the practice field, due to storage of construction materials and equipment. Fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m.

Listen to the KBBY 95.1 at 9pm for music to accompany the fireworks.

No coolers, umbrellas, chairs, EZ-ups, etc. allowed due to space constraints. No kids’ activities planned this year. Limited space in the bleacher area. Large strollers and wagons cannot be accommodated.

Beverages/desserts available for purchase onsite. No burgers/hot dogs.

The Naval Base Ventura County Color Guard will kick off the evening with a presentation of colors, followed by DJ music. The evening will conclude with a 25-minute, multi-level fireworks display, that will begin at 9 p.m. Beverages and wrapped desserts/candy will be available for purchase onsite from the Pleasant Valley Lions Club.

Attendees may park at the Metrolink Station or behind the Technicolor building (3233 Mission Oaks Blvd.) and ride a free shuttle to/from the stadium. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes beginning at 6:45 p.m. No coolers, chairs, umbrellas, etc. will be allowed inside the stadium, as seating/viewing this year will be from the home bleachers.

Event sponsors include the Camarillo/Somis Pleasant Valley Lions Club, the City of Camarillo, Oxnard Union High School District and Adolfo Camarillo High School.
