"The Fishing Hole" From The Andy Griffith Show in Memory of Andy Griffith

Andy Griffith passed away at his home in Roanoke Island, North Carolina this morning, at the age of 86. The Andy Griffith Show, along with its spin-off series Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C., was a mainstay of my early years. And just as memorable as the show itself was the show's theme song, "The Fishing Hole," co-written and whistled by the late Earle Hagen. I think this is my favorite TV show theme song without lyrics of all time! Rest in peace, Andy Griffith.
