Sergeant Dad Surprises Daughter After She Spells "Sergeant" at Spelling Bee

I don't know what it is about these types of videos that bring instant lump in throat and tears to the eyes. Perhaps it is the unabashed, unrehearsed, pure joy seen on this girl's face after a surprise visit from her dad after 8 months of overseas service.

Great Story, but it seems really tramatic for a 9 year old after not seeing her dad for so long. It seems as though there should be a better way then in front of a ton of people.

True Kelly. I was thinking the same thing about how it also have been nice if she and her dad had complete privacy in their emotional reunion.
