New Cookbook by Simi Valley Residents "My Best Friend's Kitchen"

Conejo Joe 12/30/09 Update:  WOW, I just received my copy of this cookbook! This is a beautiful cookbook, written in a very friendly style (for lack of a better description).  The book is paperback and LARGE (8 1/2" by 11") with really nice pictures.  This is the kind of cookbook that will get equal attention on the living room table and in the kitchen. It actually makes me feel like cooking, which is an unnatural endeavor for me. That said, I will be giving this cookbook to my wife with strategically places post-its. To buy the book click here.  You will not be disappointed.

Frequent CVG contributor Jill Fisher and her friend Merilee Iverson have co-written their first cookbook entitled "i found my sanity in...My Best Friend's Kitchen." Visit www.MyBestFriendsKitchen.com to learn more and to pre-order the book for pickup on Christmas week.

"Jill and Merilee are real people, with real families and real lives. They cook in their own kitchens with the phone ringing, the kids whining, the dog barking and the door bell ringing. Every recipe they have is a recipe they have created, modified, used and taught to other real people who entertain without a staff. They enjoy the art of entertaining and inviting people into their own homes and offering them something delicious and made from the heart."

CLICK HERE for some of Jill's recipes previously published here on Conejo Valley Guide!
