Landscape Photographer Tom Gamache to Speak at Museum of Ventura County on Saturday, February 12th

To Preview Museum’s March Workshop
'Lone Oak" photographed by Tom Gamache at Rancho Sierra Vista in Newbury ParkLandscape Photographer Tom Gamache will present an overview of the history of landscape painting & photography at a free lecture on Saturday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Museum of Ventura County. Gamache and workshop partner Van Webster will also include a preview of their landscape photography workshop to be offered by the museum March 18-20. Veteran photographers Gamache and Webster regularly conduct photographic workshops which include Santa Monica Mountains field trips and classroom time, and are designed for those interested in making better outdoor photographic art.
Gamache’s prints are currently on retrospective exhibition at the Santa Monica Mountains Range National Parks Visitor Center in Thousand Oaks. He is also the co-author of the book Range on the Edge-The Santa Monica Mountains. Webster's photography focuses on landscape and architectural subjects in California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. With an extensive background in media production, he was a UCLA Arts Extension faculty member and program chair for more than 20 years.
