For the 2nd year, the Los Angeles Zoo hosts LA Zoo Lights, a nightly holiday light display throughout a large section of the zoo. This jaw dropping display is sure to bring a smile to your face. There are lighted animals of all types, snowflake lane, twinkle tunnel, reindeer village, brightly lit monkeys all over the place and much more.
In addition to the light display, Santa Claus will be on hand for photos on designated nights through December 23rd, the Tom Mankiewicz Conservation Carousel runs nightly and real reindeer will be on hand (other animals are not on display during LA Zoo Nights). We stopped by the event in 2014 and it was a lot of fun. Very popular!
LA Zoo Lights will be held nightly, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, from Friday, November 27, 2015 through January 3, 2016. Learn more and purchase tickets at www.lazoolights.org. LA Zoo Lights is a rain-or-shine event.
