Westlake Juniors Hosts "Wig and Stache Party" on Friday, March 4th


A Wig and Stache Party, hosted by the Westlake Village Junior Women’s Club, promises to be a night full of laughs and crazy fun! Sport a wig or mustache and come to enjoy cocktails, food, professional photo booth, dancing and silent auction at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village on Friday, March 4th from 6 to 10pm. Net proceeds from the event will directly benefit Many Mansions Homework Tutoring Program, the Conejo Free Clinic Mammogram Fund, the Cancer Support Center Kids Circle Program, and the Triunfo YMCA. Cancer Support Community –Kids Circle Program provides group support and art therapy to children, teens, and families affected by cancer in order to foster emotional health, wellbeing, communication, and coping skills.

Conejo Free Clinic –Mammogram Fund provides lifesaving mammograms to low income women. Last year we funded over 400 mammograms, this year our goal is to provide funds for 500. In the past year alone, 5,000 people were provided with quality service.
Many Mansions –Homework Tutoring Club. Many Mansions provides housing for low income, homeless, and disabled individuals and families with children in our community. The Homework Tutoring Club provides after school tutoring that keeps children supported in their schooling and encourages reading skills.

Triunfo YMCA – Pledged $10,000 to the foundation to support in building the new 18-acre community park with sports fields, recreational amenities, and a full-service YMCA facility. Over 20,000 children, adults, and seniors will benefit from programs and activities designed to help the entire family stay active and healthy.

Westlake Village Junior Women’s Club is an organization of over 70 active members and hundreds of alumni members that has been serving the needs of the Conejo Valley for over 45 years. In addition to providing financial support to local charities, the Club also provides volunteer services by hosting events, including the annual Santa Comes to Westlake/Agoura and Beyond Food Drive (which serves over two hundred local needy families), Meals on Wheels and Feed the Hungry, to name a few.

Over the years, the Westlake Village Junior Women’s Club has disbursed over half a million dollars to deserving local charities. Some of the past recipients include: Lighthouse Women and Children’s Mission, Ride on Therapeutic, Many Mansions, Senior Concerns, and many more.
