Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation Armor Up! Gala in Ventura on October 25th

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Foundation raises funds for the Sheriff’s Office for programs and equipment purchases that are not covered in the County’s budget. Our annual fundraiser is a relaxed gala with wining, dining, auctions and a lot of fun. This year’s theme is Armor Up! It is a SWAT themed gala where guests can come dressed in SWAT or Camo attire.

Guests will have the opportunity to visit with the command staff and explore department displays, including: K9, SWAT, the Bomb Squad, Mounted Patrol and Search and Rescue. Everyone will enjoy a wonderful evening in support of a great cause; keeping Ventura County safe!

With monies raised from last year’s fundraising efforts, the Sheriff’s Foundation was able to support the K9 Unit, the Reserve officers, the Explorers and other Department requests. In 2013 some worthy Department requests were funded, including a new lift for the Bomb Squad Emergency Response Vehicle and outfitting over 100 team members from our 7 volunteer Search & Rescue Teams with new safety helmets. Along with specific equipment purchases, many of the volunteer teams and special programs have an ongoing need for funding. With the support of our Ventura County communities we hope to continue to give our Ventura County Sheriff’s Department the tools they need to keep our neighborhoods and our families safe.

Ticket Sales available at www.biddingforgood.com/VCSF. General Ticket for 1 Guest: $150. Premium Seats for 2 Guests: $500. Table for 10 Guests: $2,000
