15th Annual Pooch Parade Dog Walk & Pet Expo in Ventura on Sunday, July 15th

The Pooch Parade is a celebration of love for all dogs. The walk is a beautiful three mile round trip along the Ventura Beach Promenade, and yes, the dogs are walking their people in long lines of smiles.

The walk is a fundraiser to support dog rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and dog owner education programs undertaken by the Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.). As a Walk-a-thon, walkers gather donations by obtaining sponsors to underwrite their three mile dogwalk in the Pooch Parade.

The event is held at San Buenaventura State Beach Park in Ventura on July 15th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The event will also feature a silent auction, contests, demos and vendors. For more information visit www.poochparade.org.
