Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District presents Drive-In Movies at Oak Park High School on Saturday, May 5th (Puss in Boots) and Saturday, July 14th (Happy Feet Two).

Fill up your car with family and friends for a night outdoors watching a movie on a 30' screen. Sound broadcast through FM radio along with speakers in the parking lot. Concessions available for purchase (courtesy of O.P.H.S. Girls Volleyball) or bring your own.

Gates open at 6:00pm, Weather permitting!. Small vehicles reserved for front parking. Alcohol-free event. Saturday, Movies start at sundown. Located at 899 N. Kanan Rd. Oak Park. Cost is $5 per car. Call 818 865 9304 for more information.

Oak Park in the Movies Free Family Event on Sunday, June 24th

Bring your chairs and maybe a picnic dinner when you come to this free, family-friendly celebration of local Oak Park cinematic heritage in the great outdoors. Oak Park in the Movies features classic movie scenes from locally-filmed productions like "The Red Pony," "Of Mice and Men," "Little Big Man," "Back to the Future III," "Faster," "Role Models" and "Just Go With It" all projected on a giant outdoor screen.

No Equipment or Experience Needed......See some things you never thought you could see..... GALAXIES - NEBULAS - GLOBULAR CLUSTERS. Wear warm clothes and be prepared to be amazed.

The park lights will be turned off to give maximum night vision for viewing. If you have telescope equipment, you will be able to park in the upper parking lot. All others, please park in the lower lot near the restrooms. Red flashlight only please, and parking lights only for upper parking lot. Those with equipment, please try and arrive 30 min. before sunset to setup.
