City of Moorpark Annual 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza 

The City of Moorpark presents its 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Tuesday, July 3rd (yes...the day before the 4th) at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Gates open at 3:45 p.m. Festivities start at 4:00 p.m. Admission is $4 per person.  Children 4 and under are free. Visit the City of Moorpark website at www.ci.moorpark.ca.us or call 805.517.6300 for more information. 

Our family has attended this event a number of times in the past and we love it. Low key, family friendly fun. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Lots of musical entertainment, games/prizes for the kids, food booths, etc. Fireworks start roughly around 9 p.m.

Entertainment includes the Mark Cross Band, Raymond Michael (Elvis Tribute) and more.

Conejo Free Clinic 24th Annual Fall Golf Classic on Monday, October 8th

The Conejo Free Clinic was founded in 1976 and provides legal and medical services to those who may have no access to care. Last year, the CONEJO FREE CLINIC provided services to over 5000 people in our community!

They are of all ages and backgrounds.While the clinic has grown significantly over the years, it has maintained its original philosophy of providing comprehensive quality heath care, education, patient advocacy, and legal services to all on our community.

Now for 24 years, the golf tournament has earned a reputation as one of the premium events in our community. It is the sole fundraiser event for the Clinic. The support of golfers, businesses, and organizations is highly appreciated. The 24th Annual Conejo Free Clinic Fall Golf Classic will take place at Moorpark Country Club on Monday, October 8th.

The incredible Moorpark Country Club has amazing vistas, perfect greens, and a fabulous clubhouse. The tournament includes golf, carts, lunch, dinner buffet, awards, prizes, raffles, and auctions. It's a full day of fun. The Conejo Free Clinic golf tournament has been better and more fun each year. The event is open to everyone.

DIRECTIONS: Moorpark College is located in Ventura County in Southern California.  It is within ¼ mile of the Collins Drive exit on the 118 freeway, where the 118 freeway and the 23 freeway converge.  Exit Collins Drive and turn north (away from the wash, toward the hills) and drive 1/8 mile to Campus Road, turn right, proceed 1/8 mile to powwow on your left.
