Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship Open House in Newbury Park on April 26th

Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship will be holding a free Open House from 10am – 2pm on Saturday April 26th to give the community an opportunity to learn more about the services that it offers to children and adults with special needs.  This fun, family orientated event will include demonstrations by our talented students highlighting the programs that Ride On provides including therapeutic riding and Therapy Services – physical, speech and occupational therapy on horseback.  Information about volunteering will also available at the event.

There will be plenty of entertainment for kids including face and hair painting sponsored by the Santa Rosa Valley Pony Club, a petting zoo with lambs, pygmy goats, rabbits and guinea pigs provided by Santa Rosa Valley 4H, our famous stick horse craft and show, fun carnival games, a jolly jump and our fun horseshoe hunt.

New York Times best-selling author Laura Numeroff will be at the Open House signing her books including Ponyella and her "If You Give" series of very well loved children’s books.

Ride On’s used tack store, From Head to Hoof will also be open during the event – it is stocked with plenty of tack and show clothes, tall boots and much, much more!

Lunch will be served from 11.30 - 1pm, the event is free and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.  For more information please contact Sara@RideOn.org or call 805.375.9078.
