National Charity League, Inc., Conejo Valley Chapter invites the public to a day of holiday shopping on Thursday, October 13, 2016. The event takes place at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center, 29900 Ladyface Ct, Agoura Hills, from 10:00am-5:00pm. Over twenty chic boutique vendors will be in attendance as well a popular food truck. Funds from this event are used to support scholarships for young ladies graduating from our local high schools, as well as to support our NCL philanthropies.
National Charity League, Conejo Valley Chapter has been proudly contributing to the community since 1970. The chapter serves twenty-three philanthropies and provides over 10,000 service hours to our local community each year. In addition to the annual Day of Giving fundraiser, the Conejo Valley Chapter raises charitable funds through owning and operating the Fibber McGees Thrift Store in Thousand Oaks. staffed by volunteers from the chapter.
National Charity League, Inc. is a national non-profit organization of mothers and daughters in grades 7-12 who join together in community service in chapters throughout the United States. The purpose is to foster a sense of community responsibility in the girls as well as to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship through participation in philanthropy, leadership activities and cultural events.
