Concerts on the Green at Valley Cultural Center in Woodland Hills - Jun 3 to Aug 26

The Valley Cultural Center presents its 37th Annual FREE Concerts on the Green, held at the beautiful Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Park in Woodland Hills (5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd). There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers. The concerts are generally held on Sunday afternoons, June 3rd through August 26th from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. (with some exceptions noted below).

June 3: VCC First Annual Jazz Festival (4-8PM)

June 10: U.S. Army Band (Salute to our Armed Forces)

June 17: Ticket to Ride (Beatles Tribute)

June 24: The Official Blues Brothers Revue

July 1: Surfin' Safari (Beach Boys Tribute)

July 4: Dennis P. Zine's Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza (fireworks start at 9:08 pm)

Featuring Horace Heidt Jr. Band & Friends - Horace and Friends will be performing classic “Big Band” tunes to help celebrate our nations’ birthday with your favorite patriotic melodies.  Horace Heidt, Jr.’s musical achievements include performing at the U. S. O. Christmas Tour of Korea in December 1975; member of the Board of Directors of the U. S. O. and President of HORACE HEIDT PRODUCTIONS, offering expertise in entertainment to Fortune 500 companies.   He was the Musical Director for the LOS ANGELES RAIDERS from 1982-1994 and played for PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN’S, 50th AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURAL BALL in 1985.

July 29: The Pettybreakers (Tom Petty Tribute)

August 5: Bruce in the USA (Springsteen Tribute)

August 12: The Music of ABBA (ABBA Tribute)

August 19: Woodland Hillstock, featuring Jefferson Starship, Dennis Jones and The Shoemaker Brothers (4-8PM)

August 26: Don't Stop Believin' (Journey Tribute)

Parking for Concerts in the Park is available in the parking structure directly behind the stage on Califa Street for a $8 donation. Additional parking is available on Owensmouth Avenue in either parking structure between Califa and Oxnard. For more info visit valleycultural.org/concerts-movies/ or call 877.744.3456.

The venue has a food court will have over 20 vendors serving a variety of food and beverages. A Children's Play Zone at the venue will include bounce rides, clowns, face painting and balloon artists.
