Bodie House Music at the Thousand Oaks Library

Bodie House Music at the Thousand Oaks Library is a collaboration between Renee Bodie and Library Director Steve Brogden. Renee Bodie has been presenting house concerts in her home for many years, developing over the years personal relationships with many of the country's top acoustic artists. After attending one of those concerts, Steve contacted Renee and asked if the basic concept could work in a larger setting, perhaps a library setting. The idea was that she could present artists who would attract a bigger audience than her house concerts could accommodate and, at the same time, bring to the community high-quality artists who might not otherwise have an opportunity to perform in the Conejo Valley.

Renee's contacts in the singer-song-writer world have allowed the Thousand Oaks Library (1401 E. Janss Road) to be able to present to the community some of today's most talented and prolific acoustic artists since April 2008. Visit www.bodiehouse.com for more information.
