2016 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and Other Fun Events in Thousand Oaks


The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from the Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas! Patriotic music will be simulcast on KNJR 107.9 (new station) from 7pm to 9:45pm

Senior Home Run Derby, Borchard Community Center: $5.00 9:00-11:00am, 805/381-2744

Home Run Derby, Borchard Community Center:  $5.00, 8:30-10:30am, 805/495-4674 (for men and women and men's masters 40+) Each batter is given 10 outs. A home run is a fair ball hit over the fence. How many can you smash out? Plaques awarded to top finishers.  This is an excellent time for families to enjoy park facilities, watch some awesome hitters and compete!

Pancake Breakfast $3.00/person at Borchard Community Center from 8:00-11:00am, 805/381-2791 ALL YOU CAN EAT!

Concert in the Park at Conejo Community Park: Featuring the Conejo Pops Orchestra 5:00pm to 7pm FREE!

FREE Family Open Swim from noon to 4pm at three Conejo Valley Pools! Community Pool at CLU, Thousand Oaks High School and Newbury Park High School pools. 805/241-0894
