24th Annual Care for Kids Golf Classic in Camarillo on Monday, July 18th

The annual Care for Kids Golf Classic at the Spanish Hills Country Club is a Camarillo tradition.  The two local Rotary clubs founded the event 24 years ago.  This year's tournament, sponsored by Advanced Motion Controls, will on Monday July 18, honoring longtime tournament supporter Bill Kohagen.

The Classic has raised over $1.5 million for Casa Pacifica Centers for Children & Families and the Camarillo Rotary Foundation.  Casa Pacifica is where children are moved from their homes due to abuse or neglect.  In the safety of Casa Pacifica, children receive therapeutic services and participate in programs to help them heal and move forward in a positive way.  By sponsoring or golfing in the Care for Kids Golf Classic you will directly benefit Casa Pacifica in helping over 500 children/day.

The format is a four-person “Texas Scramble” with a shotgun start.  Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, low gross & low net, with great hole-in-one prizes on all par 3’s, including cars and cash!  Entrants receive a tee package with Opolo wine, Foot-Joy golf shoes and more!  An on-course lunch is provided.
