The City of Thousand Oaks is celebrating National Public Works Awareness Week (NPWW) with a two-day open house, Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the City's Municipal Service Center, 1993 Rancho Conejo Blvd. Individual and group tours will be scheduled for the open house on both days between 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. To reserve a tour, visit the City website at www.toaks.org/pww for online registration by May 6th, or call 805.499.2499.
National Public Works Week is a celebration of the tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and services collectively known as Public Works. The open house will acquaint residents with City services, including landscape maintenance, street repair, recycling, operations of water and wastewater systems and transit services.
