Kids Club at The Lakes in Thousand Oaks

The Kids Club at The Lakes meets every Wednesday of the month at 11 a.m. Call 805.497.9861 for more information. Events are outdoors; rain generally cancels events but call first.
Events vary from puppet shows to storytellers to musicians, petting zoos, arts and crafts, etc. for preschoolers and their parents. These are outdoor events and are weather permitting. Contact The Lakes for more information at 805.497.9861 or www.shoplakes.com.
In addition to the kids club, The Lakes has a small playground area that is geared toward the younger kids, an expanse of grass and 2 beautiful lakes, waterfall, fountain, etc. This is a nice park-like setting that makes you forget the fact that you are looking straight out at Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
One more bonus: The Lakes is next door to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, which has an outdoor courtyard with trees and paths that are fun for the kids to explore.

June 12 - KATHY’S KRITTERS - We have an educational and fun filled insect show that stars spiders, hissing cockroaches, centipedes scorpions and more! Kathy visits us with all her creepy crawly friends and she’ll answer any question you have! Don’t miss this unique presentation!
June 19 - FAMILY COMEDY - Direct from Knott’s Berry Farm, this amazing juggler has a show that is fun for the entire family! You will not want to miss the amazing trick that has been featured on the Late Show with David Letterman! Michael is a popular television actor and comedian!
June 26 - MAGIC and LAUGHS - Stoil comes all the way from Russia to share some very special magic and fun for all our local families! Stoil uses lots of children to help pull off some of his tricks! You don’t want to miss this show because Harry Potter might make an appearance!
