Kids' Adventure Garden in Thousand Oaks

The Kids' Adventure Garden (KAG) at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden is open every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The KAG provides an exciting place for children to learn about nature and gardening.  The garden features a tree house, zoo garden, hydroponic pod and much more.  Free.  Enter at 350 W. Gainsborough Rd. at Jeanine Dr. between Lynn Rd. and Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks.

I have been to the KAG with my 2 young boys numerous times and not only did they love running around the place, but we enjoyed a nice little hike around the various trails and stream adjacent to KAG.  Not to mention, Conejo Community Park is just across the parking lot and across a short bridge away.  Nice place to hang out with the kids every so often.  The only downside is that KAG is only open 4 hours per week on Sundays, 11 am to 3 pm.  Visit www.conejogarden.org/KidsGarden.html for more information and pictures.
